Grandpa Choo-Choo wanted to take James up to Newton, KS, where the BNSF train yard was. James and I had never gone, so we were excited to spend the day with Grandpa Choo-Choo and the "big" trains.
When we got there, James was so excited, he was speechless! This says a lot because, when we are in the car and see a crossing gate or a train, we never fail to hear "Ning! Ning!"and "Choo-Choo!"
As we walked closer to the "big" trains, James' grin kept getting bigger and bigger.
He really LOVES trains! This orange one is what we call a "Pumpkin".
It was fun to watch him with Grandpa.
Here are some more "Pumpkins".
The weather started to act up, so we headed to a train store.
He got to see some "little" trains and . . .
"Chuggington" trains.
Boy! Was he in hog heaven!
He loves the "Fa Fe" (aka Santa Fe).
He kept coming back to this little layout to watch the trains.
Here is the "ning-ning" sign!
What a fun day!
That is so cute!!!
