Sick

It's never fun when mommy is sick. What's worse is mommy's work is truly never done. Dishes, laundry, cooking, and all the other things that mommy does on a normal day still has to get done even when she is sick. It may not get done as fast, but slowly and surely it gets done. Note to others: if you really want mommy to get better faster, try helping her out with the housework. It doesn't matter how you do it, just helping out will be enough for her.

2010 Pumpkins!

Somehow, we ended up with 7 pumpkins this year. By the time we carved 5, I was done with seeds and guts. Here are the ending results. Clara carved the ghost.
Dale, of course, picked the more challenging one. He had prepped it and everything, but didn't officially carve it. That was all me. I am gonna hurt him next year if he picks out something as hard.

October 16, 2010 "Pumpkin Patch"

This year, we went to the Cox's Pumpkin Patch. We had a lot of fun on the hay rack ride. Clara was really excited to pick out a pumpkin for herself. We fed some animals. This goat really liked Clara or maybe just the food she had in her hands. The "patch" was basically a field with already picked pumpkins. But they had small ones, just right for James. Here is the overall picture of the "patch".They had great scare crows!I carried all the pumpkins back to the hay rack. Let me just say, this is not an easy task.My cute family! They were too funny!

It's Gone!

All of it is GONE!!! Ten inches of hair (and then some) has been detached from my head is now in an envelope, being sent to people who lose their hair due to cancer.I was so sad to see it go (it being attached to me for more than 5 years), but I've wanted to do something different. I will be updating our blog with a picture of what it looks like now.
