April 3, 2012- Arizona Trip - Easter Pageant

We spent the morning with Grandpa Cucumber and Grandma Penny at a pizza place.
James and Clara both won a ton of tickets.
 James enjoyed riding the rides!
 They had so much fun!

Next, we went to visit the construction site for the Gilbert, AZ Temple.
The construction workers were placing the stones that formed the windows.
It was really neat to see! There was a little visitor center/trailer that had displays of the stained glass windows and other detailed designs of the temple. The children each received a "piece" of the temple (broken stones).
We met up with Grandma Bonnie and Grandpa Norm to eat the traditional fried chicken before the evening's event: The Easter Pageant.
Time to say goodbye to Grandpa Cucumber.

After such a fun day, it was hard for some of us to let go.

We had to get a picture of Grandpa, Dad, and son.

Some cast members came out into the audience before the program. These guys looked familiar. Oh, wait! That's Aaron and Parker.
The view of the Mesa Temple at night is beautiful!
