April 2, 2012 - Trip to Arizona - Visit from the Cousins

In April, we visited Grandma Bonnie and Grandpa Norm in Arizona. The cousins came over to visit.

Sophie and James are only a few days apart.

March 30, 2012 - Preparing for Spring

We are getting ready for Spring. These two girls are getting their perching practice.

March 24, 2012- James Birthday Party

ALL ABOARD! James is 3!!!

 We decorated everything in trains.

 I'm not the best cake decorator. The ducky engineer makes it cute!

 Our local bakery made the train cookies! They turned out awesome!

 Saw this on Pinterest: Making a railroad track out of black duct tape, leading up to the door. This stayed up for several months afterwards. James LOVED it!

 Bubble lawn mower! We love bubbles!

 

Grandpa Choo-Choo and Memee came, of course.

 

James had a GREAT birthday party. We don't usually do big parties for the kids, but once in awhile, we pull one together and the kids enjoy it.

March 20, 2012 - James' 3rd Birthday Part 1

 Nothing fancy for James 3rd birthday. We spent the day very low-key.

 We didn't even wrap his gift.

 He didn't seem to mind it. We have a party planned for the weekend, where he'll get a ton of wrapped presents.
