So, after Allen and Juliana set off, we just sat around in our quiet, empty house and played with our kids.Nothing too fancy. It was nice to have daddy home to play with!

September 4, 2011 - A Baby Blessing for Abbie

We were so excited for Labor Day weekend for two reasons: Abbie's Baby Blessing and Allen and Juliana (and family) coming to visit. They hadn't been to visit yet so we took advantage of the weekend.

As a welcome to Kansas, it rained while they were here, but we spent most of the time inside chatting and playing. Clara and James LOVED having their cousins here. August 29, 2011 - Playing Around with Daddy

Occasionally, Abbie will let Daddy hold her. Not all the time, but sometimes, he can even get her to sleep.Then, it is time to play.And its also time for kisses from brother!Silly time!I love the chubs!

August 24, 2011 - Naptime

Mommy loves nap time in this house. I hardly get it.
But when it comes, I welcome it with open arms.

James must have enjoyed his popsicle from the ice cream man before he crashed.Anytime I can put Abbie down is amazing in itself. I love to snuggle and cuddle, but even mommy needs a break once in a while.
