I think Abbie loves her showers more than baths. She has the cutest chubs!

August 22, 2011 First Day of School

Clara started first grade this year.We also decided to start James in the "Nursery " program with the Abeka curriculum.Clara will be having several new subjects, including Spelling, Reading, Social Studies, Art, etc.She loves to color.

August 20,2011 Wichita Wingnuts

We have new neighbors- Josh Workman and Ashley Perry!
We love them!
He plays for the Wichita Wingnuts (Professional Baseball).
She works at Eric Fischer Salon.
They invited us to one of Josh's baseball games. The kids really enjoyed it! We look forward to going to many more games and cheering on Josh, our awesome neighbor!

August 20, 2011 The New Children's Garden

We decided to try out the new Children's Garden at Botanica.
We got everyone ready. Carrier-check!Gummy Worms-check!What a fun entrance!These toad stools were too cute.Stepping stones in the pond were a little small for mommy's "big" feet. Water+Kids=Way too much fun!

Hey! We have that chicken!Climbing in the tree house was fun too.Oh no! The tree is going to eat us!The "music garden" was quite enjoyable too
(figured the word "fun" is being way overused).Making it rain with pebbles.Either we all shrunk in size or that lady bug is gigantic!This caterpillar had a secret compartment in it's hiney filled with costumes for kids to dress up in. I didn't know caterpillars could produce costumes.
We had a blast at the new kid's garden. We will be going back many more times.

This Just In . . .

Clara ran into our bedroom last night and informed us that she had a loose tooth. We were excited for Clara but sad, realizing that this is a sign of getting older.All day today, she kept giving the status of her tooth. I finally had enough of the "tooth", as it was interfering with her schoolwork.

So I plucked it out of her mouth!Now, all she talks about is the tooth fairy coming tonight.

Great! So much for getting anything accomplished today.

Bath Time

Abbie loves to get wet. She just doesn't like to be cold and wet.
