Christmas Morning
Christmas morning is such a great time at our house. Mommy is usually the first to wake up. She then gets the camera and takes pictures of everyone. James did not want to wake up for anything-he is just like daddy.Clara didn't take long to wake up.We changed our "count down to Christmas" calender.Santa brought Clara a Rocking Horse. He also brought all our presents and put them under the tree.Clara discovered that her stocking was filled with all kinds of treats.Santa ate the chocolate that we gave him, a little clementine, and (of course) milk.James got to look through all his treasures. He really liked the apple--it was big and red!

Christmas Cookies
My dad ("Grandpa Choo-Choo") was insistent upon Clara learning how to make Christmas cookies the "old-fashioned way". So, we bought cookie cutters , and Memee made the dough. She really enjoyed rolling out the dough.Memee supervised.Mommy helped with the sprinkles.Clara enjoyed the finished product, as did everyone else.
More to Come!
I just finished copying all 7 files of pictures that we took over the Christmas vacation, with family visiting here and our trip to Texas to see more family. I looked through all of them and there are some pretty good ones. I will be posting them pretty soon, hopefully within this next week or so.
A Tribute to Grandpa and Grandma Pratt
While I was looking for something for my kids to wear, I realized that they both had overalls. Then as I dug deeper in their mounds of clothing, they both had red turtlenecks. So, as a mother generally does, I matched my children, and then took a ton of pictures.
Christmas Trees and Hiding Places
Christmas trees are not only the best for putting presents under, but they're also great places to watch movies and to hide from baby brothers!I actually couldn't find Clara, and when I finally called out her name, the tree had answered in her place. Thinking that was quite odd, I looked all around and then finally under, and there she was. She is so silly!
