A Day at Kemah

We spent some time at Kemah Boardwalk-a hidden treasure when you go to Texas. We had so much fun with John and Faith. Here are some pictures of the day's event.
"Where to start?" was our first impression when we arrived. Or was it, "CRAP! We so didn't bring enough money!"I love carousels! This was a two-story one. I don't think I have ever seen one like this.John was a bad kid this year, so Santa put him in Jail! It was nice of Dale to lend him a file. You just might be awhile.Right next door, Dale was up to no good. Needless to say, I don't think he's setting a good example for his kids. When Dale finally came to, he spotted his truck.
And yet, he got a warning for a DUI!Just kidding! Here is another picture of a really nice old car.Although, I think Faith should have gotten arrested for a "Fashion Don't". Silly Faith! Clara had fun trying to steer her boat. She actually got it through the tunnel. We decided to see the sights on the train. We had fun on he little train!Don't mess with Clara. She's a tough girl! I don't know what's crazier, going to Kemah in December or standing in the middle of the fountains of Kemah in December.Faith, Autumn, and John got their characters done by a really awesome artist. It turned out really good. In one of the shops, they had this really tall giraffe. He was so awesome, I had to get a picture of him with Clara and Dale.Clara really wanted this Snowman, but how in the world were we going to get him back home in one piece. Still a giant snowman is pretty "cool"!

Trip to Houston

We went to visit Dale's sister, who recently moved to Texas. While we were there, we went to the beach in Galveston. It was the first time I'd ever been to a beach. With the recent hurricane, this hotel had some major damage that you could see from a couple of miles away.I made sure Dale took pictures. Needless to say that these are just few that you'll get to see of me.A little history about the "Sea Wall".Here is Dale's sister Faith and her little "acorn" Autumn. What kind of trip to the beach would it be if we didn't collect seashells. Above us was a gift shop. The old cement beams used to hold it up, but now they have the newer beams. I have never seen so many houses and buildings that were held up by "stilts". Really neat, but kinda scary--at least for me.

Grandpa Choo-Choo

Grandpa Choo-Choo gave Clara and James Train shirts for Christmas. The kids were so excited to put on their shirts and get a picture with their Grandpa.

The Newlyweds to be Expecting

Who is the more excited?! They will be delivering their first child, a boy, in July.

Die-Hard Nebraska Fans!!!

Froggie!

James received a toy frog from daddy for Christmas. He had no clue what to think of it.Really, no idea!Suddenly, it made a noise. And then another.Ribbit! He sure loves his froggie.
