Every Cowgirl Needs a Daddy!

Clara and daddy love the book "Every Cowgirl Needs a Horse". Clara says she needs a horse.I told her she can use her daddy as her horse.

Clara's Birthday Sunday

Since Clara's birthday was on Monday, we celebrated it with the family early. Clara looked so lovely in her birthday dress! Mommy did up her hair specially just for the birthday girl. Clara wanted a pink cake-just like last year. Aunt Lydia and Uncle Mike gave her some nice things! She is my princess lovin' girl!
Clara wanted a cowgirl hat so badly!
James got a new shirt from Grandpa Choo-Choo.We got Clara an easel and some artsy things.Their usual position. A pet squirrel.

The budding artist!
Happy Birthday Clara!

A Vision of the Past

Clara was given this dress by Aunt Betty. It belonged to her daughter. I let the hem out a bit- the style back then was short with little knee-highs. My sweet girl! My sweet boy! What a ham!

New Hiding Place

One day, as I was doing laundry, I came back to this sight! What a stinker! Guess he thought he was helping me.

Spending Time with Grandpa

As usual, we spend every Sunday evening at Grandpa Choo-Choo and Memee's house. One of James and Grandpa's traditions is that they watch choo-choo videos. Clara and Grandpa like to read books. James loves to listen to Grandpa read "That's Not My Train".
